Alex is a copywriter eager to collaborate in-person and virtually with agencies and brands across the country (and around the world.) Alex has worked full-time at Deutsch LA Advertising, Ogilvy & Mather, The Designory, Evans Group (now Publicis) and Sharp Hartwig Advertising. His freelance clients include TBWA Chiat Day, Grey Advertising, and many other advertising firms.

Based in L.A., Alex has helped drive results for brands including Nissan, Starbucks, Tree Top, Infiniti, Microsoft, Korean Air, DIRECTV, Mitsubishi Motors, Expedia.com, Hawaii Visitor’s Bureau, American Express, Pacific Bell Mobile, Burger King, Canon Printers, GTE, Shell Oil, Teleflora.com, and POM Wonderful.

Advertising awards include the Belding Bowl, One Show, Communication Arts Advertising Annual, Best in the West, National Addys and Northwest Addys. 

After spending 17 years growing brands, Alex decided to help gardens grow more effectively by earning his master's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Illinois. Upon graduation, he worked for two of Los Angeles' top landscape architecture firms, MLA-Green and KSA.

Alex holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
